Volume 1 Issue 4 – November 2010

For all of us up north, this is the time that our Shelby Dodges start to disappear from the road until spring.  Also, it’s time to plan the projects to work on this winter.  We’ve started that planning at OMNI-Potent.  Our customers have started to request some instructions to make our product installations easier.  This winter, we will put together some You Tube instructional videos and will be sure to keep all of you notified when these become available. 

It’s hard to believe we have been in the market for four years now.  In that time, OMNI-Potent has brought 33 products to the market averaging about 8-9 products a year.  Our initial goal was to offer 12 products per year.  We set high standards for our reproduction items since we know our customers demand correct reproduction parts.  This translates into longer lead times for products.  As we continue to respond to market demands, we get better at speeding up our projects and offering new items to you.   

As you may know, our latest product is SKU 6001, L Body lower intercooler hose, available for $85.  These hoses are the perfect recipe for a missing hose, returning an engine bay to stock, replacement of a cracked hose, replacement due to the “transmission hole”, to use so a blow off valve can be installed or just to save your original hose for show purposes.  Who else can offer these reproduction hoses for less than what the dealer charged years ago?

Let’s face it - there is not much room to work on an intercooled L body.  This presents a challenge when replacing a missing TII Intake Support Bracket when your engine is still in the car.  We suggest taking out the entire upper intercooler plumbing, air box, air box bracket and throttle body.  This makes it much easier to access the bolt on the underside of the intake plenum.  From there, it’s easy to run the bolt in.

Your spouse or significant other may be looking for something to get you this holiday season from OMNI-Potent, but they have no idea what you need.  Well, that won’t stop them from being able to do something this year.  We are happy to start offering gift certificates for the holiday season.  These are available in all denominations starting at $20.  A gift certificate will be mailed to the purchaser.
